Elementary Summer School

Elementary: Current TK-6 Grades 

Students will have an opportunity to work with teachers to improve their math and ELA skills through intervention time, take part in enrichment activities such as project-based learning, and spend time with their peers during activity time.

Location: Foothill Elementary School

Dates: June 13-July 7 (4 weeks)

Days: Monday-Thursday

Time: 8 AM- 1 PM

Transportation: Not provided

• Drop off time: no earlier than 7:45 am
• Pickup time: at 1:00 pm 

Before and aftercare: Eagle’s Nest, free of charge (during the 4-week summer program)

• 6:30 AM-8:00 AM; 1:00 pm-6:30 PM
• Must sign up in advance

Friday Eagle’s Nest: Free of charge (during the 4-week program)

• 6:30 AM-6:30 PM
• Must sign up in advance

Lunch: Not provided

• Please bring lunch
• Snacks provided

Junior High Summer School

Junior High: Current 7th-8th Grade

High School Summer School

High School: Current 9th-12th Grades

Students currently in grades 9-12 will have the opportunity to complete up to 10 credits through an independent study summer school using our online platform, APEX. Classes are completely online, but each student will be assigned a Sierra Unified teacher to support them as they work through their class(es). Teachers will be available by video, phone or email. Opportunities for in-person instruction will also be available if desired, but it is not mandatory. Both credit recovery and original credit courses will be offered for those students with impacted schedules and must be first approved by the student’s counselor. 

Location: Online (via video conferencing and online platforms)

Dates: June 13-July 21 (6 weeks)

Days: Monday-Thursday

Time: 8 AM- 1 PM
