Whether it is due to academic or behavioral struggles, or personal and family situations, students who attend Sierra Alternative are given the social-emotional and academic support they need to thrive and reach their goals in the classroom and the community. Sierra Adult School develops life-long learners by offering programs that prepare students for success in post-secondary education, career, and the community. Sierra Adult offers an adult high school diploma program, as well as a variety of classes tailored to the career and job-skill needs of our students. Our school also partners with organizations and businesses in the community in order to effectively adapt to the current demands of the local workforce and develop a strong pipeline for job placement. Current programs include welding, computer skills, and a Parent Coop Preschool.
